Senior catcher Jack Anderson and senior shortstop Owen Levinson were each named to the All-Tournament Team for the Marietta Regional after their performances during Case Western Reserve University's three games last weekend.
Anderson batted .615 (eight-for-13) with a .923 slugging percentage and a .688 on base percentage. He ended the tournament with four runs, one double, a home run, three runs batted in, and three walks, while also playing perfect defense behind the plate and threw out a pair of base runners on five attempts. He hit safely in all three games, going three-for-four with two runs, a double, an RBI, and two walks in a 16-2 win over Mary Washington, four-for-five with an RBI in an 8-3 loss to 11th-ranked Marietta, and one-for-four with two runs, a home run, a walk, and an RBI in a 9-8 setback against Adrian.
Levinson hit .364 (four-of-11) over the three games with three runs scored, two runs batted in, and one stolen base, while not committing an error in the field at shortstop. He went two-for-four against Mary Washington with two runs and a stolen base, one-for-three with an RBI against Marietta, and one-for-four with a run and an RBI against Adrian.
CWRU finished the year with a 28-15 overall record and make the sixth NCAA Division III Championship appearance in program history.
