Box Score CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team surrendered a pair of second-half goals as part of a 4-2 loss to Baldwin Wallace University on Wednesday at Case Field. BW earns its first victory versus the Spartans since 2006.

With the victory, Baldwin Wallace improves to 4-1-3.
The first 45 minutes featured a pair of scores for each side. Case got on the board first when sophomore forward Jessie Sabers (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome) tapped in a rebound following a shot from junior forward Rachel Bourque (Newton, N.H./Central Catholic) in the seventh minute. The score was Sabers' team-best fifth for the fall. The Yellow Jackets answered with a goal just over seven minutes later when Cheryl Bell headed in a cross from teammate Audrie Wolfe.
The Spartans then took the lead, 2-1, in the 21st minute when Bourque was fouled in the box and calmly tapped home the ensuing penalty kick for her first score of the season. However, Baldwin Wallace answered back in the 36th minute when Lindsey Cooper punched home a Kayla Losco free kick after a foul from 20 yards away.
In the second half, Baldwin Wallace took advantage of a pair of scoring opportunities with a goal from Kari Trivisonno less than two minutes after halftime and a header from Cooper in the 69th minute.
Case's best chance to draw closer happened with just under three minutes showing on the clock when senior captain and midfielder Deena Levey (Columbus, Ohio/Bexley) and younger sister and junior forward Leah Levey (Columbus, Ohio/Bexley) fired a pair of close-range shots that Yellow Jacket goalkeeper Emily Tallmadge stopped.
Spartan sophomore goalkeeper Cameron Casson (Allen, Texas/Allen) suffered the loss (2-2-1) in 90 minutes with a trio of saves. Tallmadge also played the entire match for BW and tallied 10 saves.
For the match, Case held a 16-10 advantage in shots and a slight 5-3 edge in corner kicks.
