WEBSTER, N.Y. – Case Western Reserve University freshman diver Dan Jacobson (Solon, OH/Solon) finished runner-up in the one-meter dive on the opening night (Wednesday, February 16) of the 2011 University Athletic Association Championship meet at Webster Aquatic Center.

Jacobson's 464.70 points were just 11.65 away from first place. He will be back on the board on Friday, Feb. 18 for the three-meter event.

The one-meter dive was the only event of the night. Full squads will be in action starting tomorrow with 10:00 a.m. prelims. Finals are scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
