Roni Lipinski

Roni Lipinski

Roni Lipinski started as the CWRU Assistant Softball Coach in August 2025. 

Lipinski has been a successful head coach at the high school level over the last four years. In her lone season at Seneca High School in Wattsburg, Pennsylvania, Lipinski led the team to regional and district championships and the state quarterfinals.

Prior to her time at Seneca, Lipinski was the head coach at Fairview High School in Fairview, Pennsylvania, for three and a half years. The squad compiled a record of 51-28 in four seasons with Lipinski also assisting the school’s athletic director with media and donor relations.

Lipinski was a four-year member of the Division II Edinboro University softball team, appearing in 92 games for the Fighting Scots, primarily at catcher. She hit .249 in 217 career at-bats, slugging five home runs in her career. She caught 16 runners attempting to steal in four seasons behind the dish.

During her senior season, Lipinski started 38 games, clobbered a career-high four home runs, drove in 19, and had a .411 slugging percentage to lead the team to its conference tournament appearance in five years. She served as the team’s captain during the campaign, earning recognition as Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for outstanding performance and leadership on the field.

Lipinski graduated from Edinboro in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance. She has also worked as a medically based trainer and lead technician at a physical therapy center and taught health and physical education in the Wattsburg Area School District for three-and-a-half years.
