Andrew Winkler joined the Case Western Reserve University football coaching staff before the start of the 2026 season. His primary duties include coaching the team’s running backs.

Winkler has a long history of coaching and developing players, having served as the President and Director of Training, and later as a Senior Advisor, at Fast Twitch Sports Performance in Dayton, Ohio from 2008-2025. Most recently, he was the assistant eighth- and ninth-grade football coach at Medina in 2024 and 2025.

Winkler also served as the Football Performance Coach at the Ohio State University from 2005-08, helping the team reach the BCS Championship in both 2006 and 2007.

Winkler was a quarterback at the University of Mount Union, helping his team win the 2002 National Championship and finish as the runner-up in 2003, while winning a pair of OAC Championships. He went on to receive his degree in exercise science and sports management from The Ohio State University in 2006. Winkler has received his certification as a strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
