Biography

2023-24: In final season with team, went 15-19, competing exclusively at 197 pounds...Won four matches by pin...Finished career with overall record of 33-72, recording 13 pins and one technical fall...Won four of six matches at RIT Invitational on December 2, placing fifth in his weight class...Received UAA All-Academic honors...Inducted into Van Horn Society for second time.

2022-23: Went 12-16 during his senior season, competing exclusively at 197 pounds...Recorded six pins and one technical fall...Earned first career win by technical fall, defeating Zach Harper (Hiram) 24-9 on February 4...Won three of four matches at Baldwin Wallace Invite on November 19, including two pins, placing second...Named to CSC Academic All-District Team...Earned UAA All-Academic honors.

2021-22: Earned four wins in 15 matches for CWRU, competing at 174 and 184 pounds...Recorded first win by pin at 174 pounds, defeating Tate Sterling (Muskingum) in 2:42 on January 28...First pin of season was on December 4 over Vincent Miele (Norwich) in 4:37...Received UAA All-Academic recognition

2020-21: Received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2019-20: Finished his first-year as a Spartan with a 2-27 record, competing exclusively at 184 pounds...Won his first career match by pin (2:37), defeating Penn St.-Behrend's Brian Himes on February 8...Also earned a major decision win (15-2) over Muskingum's Grant Schafer at the NCAA Central Regionals on February 28.

Prior to CWRU: Earned four varsity letters in wrestling at Trinity High School...served as team captain during his junior and senior year...was coached by Brian McKee...received the Wrestling Alumni Award, the NYSAIS Section Sportsmanship Award and the Holden Cup in 2019...was an Eagle Scout in 2018...earned Senior Mathematics Prize and the Faculty Award in 2019...also competed in cross country and track & field during high school.
