Went 8-13 during his first year at CWRU, competing exclusively at 197 pounds...Pinned four opponents during the campaign...Won first collegiate match and recorded first pin in 3:40 over Jack Peterson on November 1...Placed fourth at Futures Invite and fifth at John Summa Invite.

Was a four-year member of the Trinity School wrestling team, serving as captain his junior and senior years...Coached by Brian Mckee and Terrance Parks...Went 31-3 as a senior...Received Iron Horse Award as a senior...Earned two First Team All-Ivy honors as a junior and senior...Awarded Alumni Award as a junior and senior...Also played soccer and lacrosse in high school.
