2022-23: Went 22-14 during his first year at CWRU, competing exclusively at 149 pounds...Won four matches by pin...Went 2-2 at 2023 UAA Championships, placing third...Recorded first collegiate win on November 5, defeating Trenton Trierweiler (Adrian) by decision, 9-7...Had first collegiate pin on December 3, besting Willy Kraus (RIT) in 2:33...Won 10 matches in a row from January 10 to February 4...Placed fourth at BW Invitational on November 19, going 3-2.

Prior to CWRU: Was a four-year member of the Perry High School wrestling team, serving as a captain his junior and senior years...Coached by Dave Rowan and Chris Bezzeg...Qualified twice for the state championships, as a junior and as a senior...Named All-Ohio Academic Wrestler (2021, '22)...Also competed in soccer and football in high school. 

Personal: Born September 10...Son of Dave and Cathy Rowan...His mother, Cathy, ran cross country for Lake Erie College...His father, Dave, wrestled for Edinboro University, earning All-America honors in 1987 by placing fourth at 118 lbs, and was inducted into school's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000...His brother, Kyle, currently wrestles at Stanford University.
