Merry Meyer

2022: Named to United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Team, becoming the fifth player in program history to be named an All-American...named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team, United Soccer Coaches All-Region VII First Team, All-UAA First Team, CSC Academic All-District Team, OCSA All-Ohio First Team, and OCSA Academic All-Ohio First Team...started all 22 games for CWRU during her senior season...totaled nine points on three goals and three assists...scored two-game winning goals, one in a 1-0 win over Chicago on October 16 and one in a 1-0 win over Emory on October 30...tallied an assist in 3-1 win over then-#16 Loras in the NCAA Round of 16 on November 19...played major role on Spartan backline that allowed a goals-against average of 0.68 and had 11 shutouts...finished season with 24 shots, including 10 on goal...logged single-season program record 1,878 minutes in the field...received UAA All-Academic honors. 

2021: Named to the OCSA All-Academic Second Team...was on of just four Spartans to start all 20 games during her junior season...scored a goal during the team's 2-0 win over Ohio Wesleyan on October 23... played a significant role on the Spartans' defense throughout the season, aiding the team to 13 shutouts...helped the defense register a 0.50 goals against average after yielding just 10 goals through 20 games...finished the campaign with 20 shots, including eight on goal...tallied a season-high four shots during the Spartans' 5-0 win over Chatham on November 12...earned UAA All-Academic recognition.

2020: Started in one game during the 2021 spring season...registered three total shots, including one on goal...received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2019: Named to the All-University Athletic Association Second Team and the All-Great Lakes Region Second Team for her efforts during the year...appeared in all 19 games during her first-year as a Spartan, including 17 as a starter...led the team with eight assists, the most by a first-year player since 1999...also scored a goal during the Spartans' 3-1 win over Ohio Northern on September 20...took 52 shots during the campaign, including 26 on goal...registered a season-high eight shots against Hiram on September 4.

Prior to CWRU: Was a four-year member of the Columbia High School women's soccer team, serving as the squad's captain during her senior year...Was coached by Ashley Corino...First Team All-Conference in the American Division and Super Essex Conference as a senior...Named Honorable Mention All-Conference in the American Division and Super Essex Conference as a junior...Second Team All-Conference in the Liberty Division and Super Essex Conference as a sophomore...Named the Columbia High School Soccer MVP in 2018 and was named the Essex County Scholar Athlete in 2019...Four-year member of the honor roll and was a member of the National Honor Soceity...Played club soccer for STA Morris United, where she was coached by Tim Verschuren.

Personal: Born July 31...Daughter of Shirley and Keith Meyer...Father, Keith, played soccer for the University of Virginia from 1981-1984.
