Biography

2011: Started all 20 matches at midfielder…named a third-team NSCAA/Continental Tire All-American, becoming just the third All-American in program history…also named NSCAA Collegiate Scholar All-American...tabbed first-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region and first-team All-UAA…led the team and ranked 10th in the UAA with 18 points on seven goals and four assists…led the league and set a school record with five game-winning goals, three of which came in overtime contests…converted lone penalty kick attempt in regular season finale versus Rochester on November 5…named UAA All-Academic for the second-straight season…also selected as first-team OCSA Division III All-Ohio and OCSA Academic All-Ohio…UAA Offensive Player of the Week on September 26...recipient of the CWRU Dorothy L. Hoza Award...named to UAA Presidents Scholar-Athlete Team.

2010: Played in all 18 matches and led the squad in points (17), goals (8), shots (37) and shots on goal (24)…also tallied an assist and a game-winner…recognized with second-team All-UAA and OCSA All-Ohio honors…earned UAA All-Academic and OCSA Academic All-Ohio accolades.

2009: Played in six matches as a freshman…scored first career goal, a game-winner, at Oberlin on October 24.

Personal: Serves as secretary for the Case Association of Student-Athletes (CASA)...lettered for four years in basketball and soccer at Walsh Jesuit High School…named soccer team MVP…member of the National Honor Society…also received Academic All-Ohio and Scholar-Athlete Awards…daughter of Jeff and Sue Simmons.
