Hartzler joined the CWRU Coaching Staff for as a part-time assistant prior to the 2024 season. In 2023, she was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team, Scholar All-America First Team, All-Region VII First Team, All-UAA First Team, and CSC Academic All-District Team after serving as the team's starting centerback for the entire season. Hartzler graduated as the program's all-time leader in career assists with 22.
