Hope Yashnik joined the CWRU softball coaching staff prior to the 2022 season.

During the 2022 season, the Spartans averaged 4.62 runs per game, hitting .281 with 37 home runs. Yashnik helped mentor NFCA All-Region Third Team designated player Liv Thomas and three All-University Athletic Association First Team hitters. In 2023, CWRU increased its offensive output, averaging 6.37 runs per game with senior infielder Amanda Riely earning NFCA All-America Third Team and University Athletic Association Position Player of the Year honors. 

Yashnik appeared in 76 games for Case Western Reserve from 2018-21, totaling 201 at bats. She finished her career with a .348 batting average, .389 on-base percentage, and .453 slugging percentage with three home runs, 36 runs batted in, and 11 stolen bases. 

Yashnik graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2021.
