Ashley Parello enters her eighth season as an assistant coach for the Spartans in 2023.

A four-year member of the CWRU softball team, Parello was a two-time NFCA All-Region Third Team selection, and earned a spot on the All-University Athletic Association Second Team twice. In 2014, she was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the UAA Championship. The outfielder finished her career as a .317 hitter with 14 home runs and 92 runs batted in.

Parello graduated from Case Western Reserve in 2015 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
