Was a four-year member of the Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, serving as captain her junior and senior years...Coached by Charlie Ball, Hailee Weiss, and John Golden...Started all four years...Hit .400 as a junior with 10 RBI while only making three errors in the field (.953 fielding percentage)...Helped team qualify for postseason three times...Named to All-Conference Second Team as a junior...Received Defensive Player of the Year honors as a senior...Served on board of school's National Honor Society as a junior and senior...Also played basketball in high school.

Born March 21...Daughter of Mary and Gil Howard...Her dad, Gil, played baseball as a pitcher at St. Joseph's University from 1988-91.
