Prior to CWRU

Was a three-year member of the Glenbrook North High School track and field team, serving as the squad's captain during his senior year...was coached by Sean Brandt...named CSL North All-Conference during the 2019 outdoor season...member of the National Honors Society and was an Illinois State Scholar...named an AP Scholar in 2019-20...also competed in soccer during high school.
