Prior to CWRU

Was a two-year member of the Broad Run High School track and field team, serving as jumps captain his senior year...Coached by Coach Harty, Coach Smith, and Coach Ries...Set indoor school records in the high jump (6'0", 1.83 meters) and triple jump (42'7.5", 12.99 meters)...Recorded career best marks of 19'11" (6.07 meters) in the indoor long jump, 6'3" (1.90 meters) in the outdoor high jump, 44'6.25" (14.99 meters) in the outdoor triple jump, and 20'5.25" (6.23 meters) in the outdoor long jump...Was a four-time All-State Champion, medaling three times in the high jump and once in the triple jump...Competed at New Balance Nationals & Adidas Nationals...Named High School Athlete of the Year (2023) and named to the All-Loudon County Track & Field First Team (2023)...Received Most Improved Athlete in Track (2022)...Was a two-time conference champion in the triple jump...Also ran cross country in high school.
