Was a four-year member of the Haslett High School cross country and track & field teams...Served as a team captain for his sophomore, junior and senior seasons...Coached by Mike Homan...Was an all-state runner during his senior cross country season...Notched top times of 16:09 in the 5K, 4:37 in the 1,600m run and 2:01 in the 800m run...Member of the honor roll and the National Honor Society.
