Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the Archbishop Carroll High School cross country and track & field teams, serving as a co-captain during his senior year... Coached by Mike Triola and John Agnew... Placed third in the state in the indoor 4x800m relay and fifth in the outdoor 4x800m relay in 2023... Was a four-time state qualifier for cross country... Placed fourth in the state in the 800-meter run during the 2023 outdoor championships... Recorded career-best times of 1:54.79 in the 800-meter run and 51.25 in the 400-meter run during the track season... Was his school's valedictorian... Was a 2022 Melvin Scholar for Independent Scientific Research... Was a 2022 National Merit Commended Scholar and an AP Scholar with Distinction... Winner of the Future Physician Award in 2022.
