Was a three-year member of the Corning Painted Post High School cross country and track & field teams...Coached by Ray Lawson and Andrew Cartwright...Led his team to a sectional championship in cross country...Posted career-best times of 16:53 in the cross country 5K, 4:33 in the 1,600m run, and 9:46 in the 3,200m run...Member of the High Honor Roll and National Honor Society...Also played soccer in high school.
