Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the cross country and track & field at Los Altos High School, serving as a team captain of the cross country team during his senior year...Coached by Steph MacKenzie...Recorded career-best times of 16:35.1 in the 5K during cross country season, and marks of 1:58.71 in the 800m run, 4:19.98 in the 1600m run and 9:51.72 in the 3200m run during track season.
