Biography
Graduate Student (2023-24): Finished his graduate year as the 12th-ranked player in the Central Region… Went 15-10 in singles matches, including an 11-9 record in dual matches and a 6-3 mark as the team’s no. 3 player… Added a 15-8 overall doubles record, going 8-4 in the spring with a 3-0 mark in the no. 2 spot and a 5-4 mark at third doubles… Received UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Ended his career with a 58-27 singles record, good for the 16th-most wins and the 17th-best winning percentage (.682) in team history… Added a 61-25 career doubles record, the 18th-most wins, and the 20th-best percentage (.709) ever by a Spartan.
Senior (2022-23): Named to the All-UAA First Team for his play at no. 3 singles… Went 19-9 in singles matches during the season, including a 9-4 mark in the no. 3 singles position… Finished the year as the 20th-ranked singles player in the region… Added a 23-9 mark in doubles play, going 10-6 in the no. 3 position and 15-7 overall in the spring… Selected as the UAA Athlete of the Week on April 10 after going 3-0 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles contests during the course of four Spartan wins… Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete… Received UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Ended his senior season with a 43-17 career singles record and a 46-17 mark in doubles during his time as a Spartan.
Junior (2021-22): Earned a spot on the All-UAA Second Team for his play at no. 3 doubles with Chaitanya Aduru… Went 18-7 overall in singles matches and 21-7 in doubles contests during the year… Was 13-5 in singles and 18-4 in doubles during dual matches… Went 5-3 at no. 4 singles and 13-4 at no. 3 doubles during the campaign, his primary positions in the lineup… Received ITA Scholar-Athlete and UAA All-Academic honors.
Sophomore (2020-21): Appeared in four singles matches for the Spartans during his sophomore year, going 3-1… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition and was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
First-year (2019-20): Saw action during the fall, finishing the year with a 3-0 singles record and a 2-1 doubles ledger… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Personal: Attended Woodinville High School, but did not play for the program... Coached by Justin Bowe, Brian Park, Lawrence Formentera and Marritt Johnson... Ranked as high as eighth in the USTA Pacific Northwest Section, and reached a USTA National Ranking of 289th... Winner of the 2019 Washington State Honors Award... Placed second at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Regionals twice... Also placed second at the FBLA State Competition and qualified for nationals... Born June 25...
