Was a three-year member of the Adlai E. Stevenson High School tennis team, serving as a captain during his senior year… Coached by Isriz Balase… Helped lead his team to a third-place finish in the state in 2026 and a fifth-place finish in 2025… Individually, placed fifth at the state championships as a junior and second as a senior… Received all-conference honors as a junior and a senior… Named his team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior… Recorded a 21-3 record as his team’s no. 1 singles player as a senior… Earned academic all-state honors during his junior and senior seasons… Received additional coaching from Frank Chen, and placed third at the Midwest Closed 16s and fourth at the Midwest Closed 18s… Qualified for nationals at Kalamazoo twice.
