Prior to CWRU

Attended the University of Minnesota for one year, where he did not compete in intercollegiate swimming...Was a five-year member of the Prior Lake High School swim team, serving as captain his senior year...Coached by Joe Bollinger, Andrew Weis, and Justin Haycraft...Swam career-best times of 21.05 in the 50 Free, 47.01 in the 100 Free, and 54.25 in the 100 Fly...Helped team placed third in the state as a sophomore and junior...Won state championship in the 200 Medley Relay in 2024, placed third in the state in the 200 Free Relay, fourth in the 50 Free, and seventh in the 100 Free...Received All-American honors two times as a senior...Graduated as Distinguished Board Scholar...Swam for South Metro Storm Swim Club, where he was coached by Chuck and Phil Smith...Set state record in 17-18 200 Meter Free Relay and multiple team records...Had multiple national top 10 finishes in age group for relays.
