Recorded season-best times in the 200 Back of 1:55.70 and in the 100 Fly of 53.55 at the Total Performance Invite...Swam season-best time of 54.12 in the 100 Back against Gannon...Added season-best time of 2:06.66 in the 200 IM at the Oberlin Early Invite...Received UAA All-Academic recognition.

Prior to CWRU

Was a four year member of the Glastonbury High School swim team, serving as captain his senior year...Coached by Susie Hoyt...Swam career-best times of 51.65 in the 100 Fly, 52.94 in the 100 Back, and 1:57.15 in the 200 Fly...Won LL state championship in 100 Fly...Set school record in the 100 Fly and every relay...Named an Academic All-American...Earned four All-Conference honors...Awarded team's rock award in 2023 and unsung hero award in 2022...Received Academic All-State and Connecticut Swimming Scholar-Athlete honors...Swam for IVY club, where he was coached by Robert Adams Machaud and Travis Morse.

Personal

Born November 23...Son of Thomas and Bridget Watson...His sister, Maddie, was on the gymnastics team at Cornell from 2019-23...Swam for the CWRU Club team during his first year at the university.
