2017: Played in 13 matches during his senior year, with 11 starts at forward...finished third on the team with five goals and also added an assist for 11 points...scored the game-winning goal during the Spartans' season-opening victory over Mount Union on September 1...scored the game-winning goal during the second overtime period to defeat Emory 3-2 on October 29...added an assist during the win against Emory as well...finished second on the team with 42 shots and 167 shots on goal...has played in 60 games for the Spartans during his career, including 56 as a starter, registering 19 goals and 10 assists for 48 points...received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2016: Started in all 17 games he played in for the Spartans during his junior season...scored one goal and added two assists for four points...scored a goal against Hiram on September 14th...assisted on the game-winning goal during the Spartans' 4-0 win against Baldwin Wallace on September...added an assist against NYU on October 1st...took a team-high 30 shots during the year, including 13 on goal...recorded a season-high four shots against DePauw on September 11th...received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2015: Named to the All-Ohio Second Team during his sophomore campaign… Played in 13 games, making 12 starts during the year… Was second among all CWRU players with six goals and 16 points, and led all Spartans with four assists and three game-winning goals… Scored four goals in the team’s first three games, including the game-winning strikes against Mount Union on September 1^st and Pitt.-Greensburg on September 5^th… Scored two goals during the team’s victory over Pitt.-Greensburg… Tallied the game-winning score against Wooster on September 23^rd… Scored a goal and assisted on two others in a 4-1 win over New York University on October 3^rd… Assisted on the game-winning goal against Wilmington… Also assisted on a goal against Oberlin on October 7^th… His three game-winning goals ranked him third among all UAA players and 154^th in Division III… Finished the year second on the team with 36 shots and third with 14 shots on goal… Received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2014: Played in 17 matches with 16 starts at midfielder…tied for first on the team tallying seven goals, three of which were game-winning... second most on the team with three assists...recorded 40 shots with 21 on goal…named Second Team All-UAA.

Personal: Earned three varsity letters at East Chapel Hill High School…named All-Orange Person Athletic Conference…born October 3...son of Doug and Susan Balog.
