Fernando Lisboa

Fernando Lisboa joined the CWRU Men's Soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach in September 2024. 

Lisboa spent the 2023 season as an assistant coach at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, helping guide the team to the American Southwest Conference regular season championship. With the Crusaders, he served as head coach for the reserve team, assisted with practice planning, acted as the lead recruiter, analyzed and assessed video, and assisted in operations, travel and scheduling for both varsity and reserve team. 

Prior to his time in Belton, Texas, Lisboa was a graduate assistant coach with Division II Dallas Baptist University for two seasons. At DBU, he earned a Masters of Science in Kinesology in 2023. Lisboa graduated from Hastings College in 2020 with a degree in exercise science, sports and recreational management. 

Playing at the NAIA level for four seasons, Lisboa was a Third Team All-American during his senior year. That same season, he was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Player of the Year and earned First Team All-GPAC honors in addition to NAIA Scholar Athlete recognition. The Broncos the NAIA national championship in 2019.

Professionally, Lisboa has recieved a Goalkeeper Level 1 Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches and a C license from the USSF.
