2015: Became just the fourth player in the program’s history to earn NSCAA All-America recognition, after being named to the Second Team for his efforts during the year… Was also selected to the D3soccer.com All-America Third Team and the NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region First Team… Named the University Athletic Association Most Valuable Player, only the second CWRU player ever to win the honor… Received All-UAA First Team honors for the third-straight season, becoming just the third player to claim the honor on three occasions… Selected to the All-Ohio First Team… Played in 16 games during the year, starting 15 and serving as the team captain… Finished the season as the team leader with 10 goals (tied for the ninth-most in a season in school history) and 22 points, both career highs… Was ranked 93rd among all DIII players with 0.63 goals per game, 125th with 1.38 points per game (the eighth-best mark in school history), and 133rd with 10 goals… also led all CWRU players with 38 total shots and 22 shots on goal… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 14th, September 28th and October 5th… Led the Spartans to a 4-1 win over UAA-rival New York University on October 3rd, scoring three goals, including the game-winner, for the first hat-trick of his career… Tallied goals in three-straight games between October 3rd and October 11th… Scored two goals against John Carroll University on September 16th to lead the team to a 2-0 win… Registered at least a point in nine of the 16 games he played in during the year… Tied for the conference lead with four goals in UAA games… Was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team, the NSCAA Scholar All-America Second Team and the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for his achievements both on the field and in the classroom during his career… Received UAA All-Academic recognition… Finished his career tied for fifth in school history with 15 career assists, sixth with 67 points and tied for sixth with 26 goals.
2014: Played in and started all 18 matches at midfielder…tied for first on the team with seven goals three of which were game-winning... first on the team with four assists...recorded 47 shots with 17 on goal...led the team with 18 points...went two-for-three on penalty kicks…earned All-UAA first team honors... named to the All-Great Lakes Region Third Team...named UAA All-Academic.
2013: Started all 17 matches at midfielder…named to All-UAA First Team as well as OCSA All-Ohio Third Team…also a UAA All-Academic honoree and an OCSA Academic All-Ohio First Team selection…selected as team MVP and Attacking Player of the Year...led the team and tied for fourth in the UAA during the regular season with 21 points on seven goals and seven assists…ranked third in the league in assists during the regular season…scored a career-best two goals in victory at Chicago on October 20…recorded a career-high three assists in a win versus Franklin on September 21.
2012: Played in all 18 matches with 13 starts in the midfield…team’s top freshman scorer with six points on two goals and two assists…scored first career goal, the eventual game winner, in collegiate debut versus Washington & Jefferson on August 31…recorded first career assist at Emory on October 12.
Personal: Earned three varsity letters in soccer as well as one in basketball at McDowell Senior High School…named a 2011 District 10 Region 6 first-team All-Star in soccer…team captain as a senior...two-year captain in basketball…graduated with distinctive honors in top five percent of senior class…member of the National Honor Society…four-year member of the McDowell Honors College…son of William F. and Rose Mary Cvecko.
