Competed in five races during his sophomore season… Recorded a career-best 8K time at the Mike Woods Invitational, finishing in a time of 26:30.0 to place 131^st overall and ninth among Spartans… Was the team’s fifth finisher and placed 45^th overall at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational… Was the seventh Spartan, 31^st Division III runner, and 89^th finisher overall at the All-Ohio Invitational… Placed 45^th overall and sixth among Spartans at the Grizzly Invitational… Recorded a 10^th-place finish and was eighth among Spartans at the Bill Sudeck Invitational… Received UAA Fall All-Academic honors… View his complete list of times and finishes from the season.

Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the cross country team and a two-year member of the track & field team at North Catholic High School, serving as a captain of the cross country team as a senior... Coached by Stacy Kopchak, Joella Baker, and Tim Souders... Placed 24th at the 2022 Cross Country State Championships... Named his team's Most Valuable Performer for cross country and track & field as a senior... Placed 20th in the 3200m run at the 2022 Track & Field State Championships... Recorded career-best times of 16:24 (a school record) in the 5K during the cross country season and 9:45 in the 3,200m run (a school record) during the track season... Was his high school's valedictorian... Member of the National Honor Society and an AP Scholar with Distinction... Also swam and competed in the triathlon in high school... Has been on an elite triathlon team for eight years and represented Team USA at the 2022 World Triathlon Championships in Montreal.
