Prior to CWRU

Joined the CWRU team after competing at Chapman University as an undergraduate… Recorded a career-best 8K time of 26:22.2 at Chapman… Had career-best track times of 4:12.25 in the 1,500-meter run, 9:08.26 in the 3,000-meter run, 10:42.89 in the two-mile run, 15:56.16 in the 5,000-meter run, 32:55.43 in the 10,000-meter run, and 11:03.30 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase… Received CSC Academic All-District honors and named to the SCIAC All-Academic Team… Was a four-year member of the Francis W. Parker School cross country and track & field teams, serving as a captain of both during his senior year… Member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society in high school.
