Was a four-year member of the Highland Park High School basketball team, serving as a captain during his junior and senior seasons… Coached by Ross Deutsch… Was named his team’s Most Valuable Player three times… Earned all-conference and all-area honors twice… Graduated as the program’s all-time leading scorer with over 1,400 career points… Averaged 20 points and four assists per game as a senior… Recipient of the Giant Club Extra Effort Award and named to the high honor roll.
