Played for the Stephen F. Austin High School basketball team for four seasons, serving as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons… Coached by Donald Linden… Helped lead his team to over 20 wins during his senior year… Was a two-time all-district first team honoree and named his team’s Most Valuable Player twice… Was the first player in program history to reach 1,000 career points… Averaged 18.4 points, six rebounds, and four assists per game… Received all-academic honors and graduated summa cum laude.
