Season & Career Highs:

Junior (2016-17): Played in 18 games and made four starts during the year, before missing the final seven contests of the campaign due to injury… Averaged 7.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, while leading the team with 1.1 blocks per contest… Had six double-figure scoring efforts during the year and three games of ten or more rebounds… Led the team in rebounds during six games and in blocks on 10 occasions… Recorded the sixth double-double of his career with 10 points and a career-high 14 rebounds against Trinity on November 18, including a game-winning tip in during the final seconds of the game… Scored a season-high 16 points and added eight rebounds against Bethany on December 29… Had a career-high four blocks against Brockport on November 19... Ended his junior season ranked seventh in school history with a 52.6% career field goal percentage and ninth with 62 blocked shots.  

Sophomore (2015-16): Started all 25 games in the post for the Spartans, averaging 9.6 points per game and a team-leading 6.2 rebounds per game… Added 1.0 blocks per game during the campaign… Shot 52.7% from the field to lead all CWRU players, and scored in double-figures on 12 occassions… Recorded a team-best three double-doubles during the season… Scored a season-high 18 points and collected a career-best 12 rebounds against Denison on November 24^th… Had back-to-back double-double games with 11 points and 11 rebounds against Emory on January 24^th and 17 points and 10 rebounds against Brandeis on January 29^th.

Freshman (2014-15): Played in all 25 games off the bench during his freshman season, averaging 18.0 minutes per game…was second on the team with 4.6 rebounds per game, and averaged 9.6 points per game…shot 56.8 % from the field…scored a season-high 22 points on a nine-for-ten effort from the field against Wilmington on November 22, en route to earning all-tournament honors at the Stephanie Tubbs-Jones Invitational…had 12 double-digit scoring efforts during the season…had three double-digit rebounding games, including a season-high 11 against Geneva on December 29.

Personal: Earned three varsity letters at nearby Saint Ignatius High School…two-time all-district…also lettered for 2011 State Championship football team…first honors student all four years…twin brother of fellow Spartan David and the son of Matthew and Kiera Black.
