First-Year (2019-20): Recorded one of the best seasons by a first-year player in program history in 2019-20… Became the first Spartan player ever to be named the D3hoops.com Great Lakes Region Rookie of the Year… Named the University Athletic Association Rookie of the Year as well, becoming the fourth Spartan player to receive the honor… Was the only first-year player in the conference to receive All-UAA honors, earning a spot on the all-league first team… Became the seventh first-year player in the program’s history to receive All-UAA honors and the first to be named to the first team… Played in all 25 games during the season, including the final 14 games in a starting role… Averaged 28.1 minutes per game… Scored a team-high 14.9 points per game, while leading the team with a 50.6% shooting mark overall from the floor, a 42.9% mark from three-point range (the 17th-highest in program history in a single season), and an 86.2% mark from the free throw line… Also led the team with 31 steals, while finishing second on the squad with 6.1 rebounds per game… Added 1.0 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game… Scored in double figures in 18 games during the year, including 13 of the team’s 14 conference games… Added six efforts of at least 20 points, and four games of 25 or more points… Notched three double-doubles during the year… Became the first CWRU player since Matt Clark in 2015-16 to lead the league in points per game in UAA contests with 17.9… Scored a season-high 30 points against NYU on February 2… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on January 13 after scoring 27 points, and collecting seven rebounds and four blocks against Carnegie Mellon… Notched a double-double in his first collegiate game with 12 points and 11 rebounds off the bench against Central on November 8… Scored 14 points, collected 11 rebounds, and blocked five shots against Adrian on December 7… Recorded his third double-double of the year against UMass-Dartmouth on December 19 with 27 points and 10 rebounds… Notched back-to-back 24-point, nine-rebound efforts in wins against Rochester and Emory on February 21 and 23.

Personal: Was a four-year member of the basketball team at Coldwater High School... Was coached by Nick Fisher and Cody Mescher... Helped lead his team to a regional runner-up finish in 2019, after claiming the district and sectional championships earlier in the year as a senior...
