Biography

2012: Played in six games at wide receiver in first season with the team after an All-American career with Spartan men’s soccer…named first-team All-UAA with 14 receptions for 260 yards and two touchdowns…named UAA Offensive Player of the Week after totaling a career-high seven receptions for 180 yards and a score in Academic Bowl victory versus Carnegie Mellon on November 10…also recorded a career-long 37-yard reception versus CMU.

Soccer Career: Ended career as only two-time NSCAA All-American in program history…also a D3Soccer.com All-American and an NSCAA Collegiate Scholar All-American…two-time UAA Most Valuable Player…three-time first-team All-UAA…set school career records with 43 goals and 101 points…set school single-season records with 20 goals and 50 points…six-time UAA Offensive Player of the Week...two-time UAA All-Academic…became the first-ever player to sign with AFC Cleveland, a semi-professional team in the National Premier Soccer League.

Personal: Earned four varsity letters at nearby Valley Forge High School…named 2007 first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference…also tabbed first-team All-Cleveland and third-team All-Ohio…graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the National Honor Society…son of Leonard and Mary Bell.
