Biography

2014: Selected as a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy…played in eight games during the season, making six starts…received UAA All-Academic recognition…finished the season with 185 all-purpose yards…caught 19 passes for 107 yards, while rushing five times for an additional 27 yards…recorded season-highs of five receptions and 107 yards during the team’s season finale against Chicago on November 15... NFF Hampshire Honors Society Selection.

2013: Started all nine games and was named UAA Special Teams Co-Player of the Year…also tabbed All-UAA First Team at punt returner and All-UAA Second Team at wide receiver…set school record for kick return yards in a single season with 614 yards (20.5 yards per return)…led the UAA in all-purpose yards (1,164) and kick return yards (614)…tied for team lead in receptions with 32 and ranked second in receiving yards with 320 and tied for second in receiving touchdowns with two...tabbed UAA Special Teams Player of the Week on October 19 after recording 150 total return yards at Puget Sound…matched a career best with seven receptions against Trinity on October 26…posted career-best returns of 44 yards (kick) at Carnegie Mellon on November 16 and 51 yards (punt) versus Chicago on November 2…UAA All-Academic honoree for second straight season...also qualified for UAA Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete Team.

2012: Started all 10 games as team’s top wide receiver…named second-team All-UAA…led the squad with 40 receptions for 501 yards and ranked second with three touchdowns…ranked third in the UAA in catches and fifth in receiving yards...also totaled eight kick returns for 188 yards…recorded a career-high 132 receiving yards and tied a personal best with a 36-yarder at Hiram on September 8…tied a career best with seven receptions at Ohio Wesleyan on September 22…named UAA All-Academic.

2011: Started all 10 games at wide receiver as a freshman…served as team’s No. 2 wide out and totaled 36 catches for 429 yards and one touchdown…ranked second on the team in both receptions and receiving yards, while ranking third in the UAA in catches and fourth in yardage…season-high seven receptions on October 15 versus Hiram…season-high 74 receiving yards on October 22 at Wooster…season-high 36-yard reception on September 24 at Denison.

Personal: Earned three varsity letters at Chartiers Valley High School…two-time All-Big Seven Conference selection…named to Fabulous 22 team as a senior…member of the National Honor Society...son of Tom Lapcevic and Kim Russitano.
