Was a four-year member of the Ocean Lakes High School football team, serving as a captain during his senior year… Coached by James Yeager… Was a Class 5A All-Region linebacker as a junior and a senior… Ranked among the top-10 players in the state in tackles (112) and tackles for loss (23)… Was an Academic All-American and earned the Ocean Lakes Sportsman Award… Also played basketball in high school.
