Was a four-year member of the Memphis University School football team… Was an all-region honorable mention and won the team’s defensive most valuable player award as a senior… Ran for 460 yards with eight touchdowns… Won the Student-Athlete of Merit Award all four years of high school… Recognized as a Dean’s Scholar and named to the Faculty Honor Roll… Also played baseball and competed for the swimming team in high school.
