Biography

2015: Selected to the 2015 CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team and the Academic All-District Team… named to the All-UAA First Team and the All-PAC Second Team… received a postgraduate scholarship from the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation… started all 10 games for CWRU during his senior season… recorded 46 tackles, and was second on the team with 8.5 tackles for a loss and third with 4.5 sacks… had at least half a sack in each of the team’s final five games… tallied a season-high eight tackles, including a sack, during the team’s season finale against Carnegie Mellon… earned UAA All-Academic honors and was named to the PAC Fall Academic Honor Roll… finished his career with 133 tackles, including 19.5 for a loss and nine sacks.

2014: Named to the All-UAA Second Team…started each of the team’s 10 games during the year on the defensive line…led all ranked 10th in Division III and led all PAC players with three fumble recoveries in 2014…was tied for second on the squad with six tackles for a loss…added 47 tackles (20 solo), 2.5 sacks and five quarterback hurries during the campaign…recorded a season-high 12 tackles and two hurries against Bethany on October 4.

2013: Played in all nine games and earned six starts on the defensive line…named to All-UAA Second Team and UAA All-Academic Team…finished with 40 tackles, including five for loss and two sacks…posted a career-best seven tackles at Oberlin on September 15…logged first career sack versus No. 3/2 Linfield on September 28.

2012: Played in one game as a freshman. 

Personal: Earned three varsity letters in football as well as two in baseball at West Lafayette High School…named All-Indiana as a junior in 2010…also tabbed All-Hoosier Conference and all-area as both a junior and a senior…served as a 2011 team captain in addition to earning Team's Best Lineman Award in 2010 and 2011…tabbed to Indianapolis Colts Academic All-Star Team in 2011…National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete of the Year nominee…Academic All-Indiana…member of the Natonal Honor Society…valedictorian of senior class…also a member of the Spanish Honor Society and was a Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Conference Ambassador…son of Mark and Marga Snyder.
