Appeared in one game during his first season as a Spartan, making his collegiate debut against Bethany on September 14.

Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the Rock Hill High School football team, serving as a captain his senior year… Coached by Bubba Pittman… Named an honorable mention to the all-state team and claimed all-region honors as a senior… Named the Tri-County Player of the Week three times and the State Farm Player of the Week once during his career… Selected as the Defensive Lineman of the Year… Totaled 109 tackles and led the team with 16 sacks and 24 tackles for loss… Member of the National Honor Society and a Highest Honors graduate… Was an AP Scholar Candidate… Earned the South Carolina Department Seals of Distinction… Also competed in track & field.
