Zech Medved will begin his second season as a member of the CWRU coaching staff in 2023. He will be serving as an assistant coach and working with the team's wide receivers.

Medved was a standout tight end for the Spartans during earning All-UAA First Team honors and helping the team reach the second round of the NCAA Playoffs in 2017. He was a co-captain for multiple years and finished his career with 57 receptions, 942 yards, and eight touchdowns over 40 games played.

Medved graduated from CWRU in 2018 with his degree in Finance.
