Nick Hanson joined the Case Western Reserve University coaching staff before the 2023 season and serves as an assistant coach, primarily working with the team's tight ends.

Hanson received his Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Athletic Coaching from Baldwin Wallace in 2017, where he was also an offensive lineman for the football team. He went on to receive his Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University in 2019.

In addition to his work with the football team, Hanson is also a Residential Community Director at CWRU. He has served in similar roles at Tulane University, Grinnell College, Florida International, and Baldwin Wallace.
