Alan Estep joined the Case Western Reserve University coaching staff before the 2024 season as an assistant coach, working primarily with the offensive line.

Before arriving at CWRU, Estep was the Assistant Head Football Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach at Division II Notre Dame College from 2020-2023. Estep has also made stops at Marietta College, where he was the Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Camp Coordinator from 2013-19 and was named the 2016 Ohio Athletic Conference Assistant Football Coach of the Year, and at Oberlin College, where he was the Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and was selected as the NFF Northeastern Ohio College Assistant Football Coach of the Year in 2011-12.

Estep received his Bachelor's Degree from Bluffton University where he was a team captain and a 37-game starter at tight end, guard, and tackle. He was a three-year letter winner at Western Reserve High School, serving as the team captain in 2001.
