Biography

2014: Selected as an honorable mention to the All-UAA Team… started all 10 games during the season at quarterback…completed 196 of 346 passes for a 56.6 completion percentage (sixth-best in the PAC)…threw for 1,920 yard and 16 touchdowns…had seven multiple-touchdown games and three games of over 200 yards passing…rushed for a net gain of 158 yards and two touchdowns in 2014…named the UAA Offensive Player of the Week on September 8 after completing 24 of 37 passes for a career-best 301 yards against Carnegie Mellon…received UAA All-Academic recognition... NFF Hampshire Honors Society Selection.

2013: Played in all nine games with three starts at quarterback…named UAA All-Academic for second straight season…completed 31-of-59 passes for 369 yards and a touchdown…also rushed for 110 yards on 54 carries with four touchdowns…tabbed UAA Offensive Player of the Week on September 23 after rushing for a career-high 92 yards and a career high-tying three TDs at Frostburg St. on September 21.

2012: Played in six games with three starts as team’s “wildcat” quarterback…named All-UAA Honorable Mention as well as UAA All-Academic…completed 17-of-29 pass attempts for 150 yards and two touchdowns…also rushed 52 times for 247 yards (4.8 ypc) with four touchdowns…recorded a career-high three touchdowns on the ground, including a career-long 34-yarder in Academic Bowl victory versus Carnegie Mellon on November 10…threw game-winning touchdown in overtime at Oberlin on October 20…rushed for a season-high 73 yards on 12 carries in Baird Brothers' Trophy game victory versus Wooster on October 6.

2011: Appeared in two games at quarterback as a freshman…rushed for 20 yards on four carries and completed 1-of-2 passes for 21 yards versus Hiram on October 15.

Personal: Earned four varsity letters in football and two in lacrosse at Palmyra Area High School…named All-Pennsylvania Honorable Mention, first-team Academic All-PA and first-team all-county as a senior…also selected as All-Mid Penn Honorable Mention for lacrosse…member of the National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars…son of Leonard and Nina Beecher.
