
Senior (2022): Appeared in seven games and made six starts for CWRU in 2022… Went 0-3 with a 7.54 ERA… Struck out 15 batters and walked 12 through 22.2 innings… Allowed 35 hits, including six doubles and one home run, for a .347 opponents’ batting average… Allowed just one earned run and struck out a season-high five batters against SUNY Cortland on March 13… Received UAA Spring All-Academic Honors… Ended his CWRU career with a 4-4 record and a 5.07 ERA over 22 career appearances and 13 starts.
Junior (2021): Appeared in four games during the season, making one start… Finished the year with a 1-0 record and a 2.57 earned run average… Held opponents to a .281 batting average over 14.0 innings of work, while striking out 11 batters and walking just four… Held right-handed hitters to a .255 average (13-for-51)… Started and made his season debut against Hiram on March 31, scattering six hits and a walk over four innings and striking out three, while not allowing an earned run… Earned a win against Wooster on May 16, allowing just one run on four hits and a walk and striking out five batters over six innings of relief work… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition.
Sophomore (2020): Pitched in one game out of the bullpen for the Spartans during the 2020 season… Walked just one and struck out three batters over a pair of hitless innings against Roger Williams on March 9… Received Spring UAA All-Academic Recognition.
First-Year (2019): Pitched in 10 games and made six starts for the Spartans during his freshman season, going 3-1 with a 4.78 earned run average… Struck out 22 batters and walked 10 over 37.2 innings of work… Allowed 45 hits for a .317 opponents’ batting average… Restricted opposing hitters to a .260 average (19-of-73) with men on base… Did not allow an earned run in his first three appearances of the season, comprising 10.0 innings, during which he struck out eight batters and allowed just eight hits… Allowed three or fewer runs in seven of his 10 appearances during the year… Earned the first win of his collegiate career with four shutout innings of relief against Allegheny on March 2… Also earned victories against Roger Williams on March 13 and St. John Fisher on March 24… Pitched a pair of shutout innings out of the bullpen against Baldwin Wallace on April 3.
Personal: Was a four-year member of the Woodrow Wilson High School baseball team, serving as a captain during his junior and senior seasons... Was coached by Jimmy Silk... Helped lead his team to the 2018 State Championship... Also played basketball, winning a state championship in 2018 as well... Born October 30... The son of Peter & Kaffie... His father was a pitcher for Georgia Southern College from 1988-91, leading the team in saves in back-to-back years in 1989 and 1990.
