Biography

Sophomore (2023): Played in 40 games during the season, making 39 starts (16 at shortstop, 15 in the outfield, five at designated hitter, and three at second base)… Hit .367 with 40 runs (the 19th-most in a single season in school history), 12 doubles, two triples, a home run, and 37 runs batted in (18th in program history)… Led the team with 26 walks, the 13th-most ever in a season by a Spartan player… Slugged 497 with a .464 on base percentage for a .961 OPS… Stole 13 bases on 17 attempts… Batted .397 against right-handed pitching, .467 with runners on base, .529 with runners in scoring position, and .489 with two outs…Had 18 multiple-hit games and nine multiple-RBI efforts during the year… Reached base safely in each of his final 20 games during the year, and recorded a 16-game hitting streak from April 9 through May 7… Went one-for-three with a home run, two RBIs, and three walks against Cortland on March 13… Was three-for-five with a double, three RBIs, and a school-record-tying five runs against Brandeis on April 21… Went four-for-six with a double against Ohio Wesleyan on April 29… Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition… Finished his career batting .306 with 87 runs, 25 doubles, four triples, three home runs, and 75 RBIs over 113 games played and 106 starts… His 29 career stolen bases were the 19th most in program history.

Junior (2022): Appeared in 40 games, including 39 as the starting second baseman… Hit .236 with 24 runs scored, five doubles, a triple, and 24 RBIs… Also stole 12 bases on 15 attempts… Slugged .285 and walked 12 times to raise his on-base percentage to .319… Hit .375 against lefties, .370 with runners in scoring position, and .800 with the bases loaded… Totaled seven multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI efforts… Had an eight-game hitting streak from April 7 – 17… Went three-for-five with two runs, four RBIs, a double, and two stolen bases against NYU on April 17… Was three-for-five with three runs, three RBIs, and two stolen bases against Denison on March 19… Received UAA Spring All-Academic Honors.

Sophomore (2021): Had a breakout season for the Spartans during his sophomore year, batting .382 (29-of-76) with 21 runs scored, seven doubles, a triple, a home run, and 13 runs batted in… Stole three bases on four attempts… Finished the year slugging .539 with a .473 on-base percentage… Played in 24 total games during the season, including 19 as a starter (13 at second base, one in the outfield, and five as the designated hitter)… Batted .500 (seven-for-14) against left-handed pitching… Recorded 10 multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI efforts… Ended the season on a career-best six-game hitting streak, picking up multiple hits in each game and batting .531 with 10 runs, seven RBIs, four doubles, and a home run during the stretch… Named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on May 4 after hitting .636 (seven-for-11) with two doubles, a home run, five runs scored, and four RBIs during a doubleheader sweep of Franciscan… Was three-for-four with two runs scored, an RBI, a double, and a stolen base against Hiram on March 31.

First-Year (2020): Appeared in and started nine games at third base for the Spartans during the 2020 season… Picked up five hits in 32 at-bats, including a double and a home run… Scored two runs and drove in one… Added four walks during the year to raise his on-base percentage to .281, while slugging .270 for the campaign… Successfully stole a base in his only attempt during the year… Hit .273 (three-for-11) against left-handed pitchers and .286 (four-for-14) with runners on base, including a .400 average (two-for-five) with runners in scoring position… Went two-for-four with a solo home run (the first of his career) during the team’s win over Wooster on March 1… Added a two-for-five performance with a double and a run scored against Roger Williams on March 8… Singled and walked against Alfred State on March 11.
