2016: Appeared in two games during his senior year… Pitched a perfect inning in a 17-0 win over Oberlin on April 20th, striking out one batter in the game… Earned UAA All-Academic honors… Finished his career 8-4 with a 4.18 ERA and a .245 opponents’ batting average.
2015: Pitched a seven-inning no-hitter against the University of Rochester in his season debut on March 11…struck out eight and walked five in the game, which marked the first no-hitter in the history of the UAA Championships…made eight appearances, including six starts, and finished the season with a 3-1 record and a 2.84 ERA…struck out 35 batters in 38.0 innings of work, while holding opponents to a .198 batting average…pitched 6.1 innings against Mount Aloysius on March 22, allowing just one uneared run on three hits with six strikeouts…surrendered just one hit over 6.1 innings pitched against Wittenberg on April 18…earned UAA All-Academic recognition.
2014: Pitched in eight games with seven starts…went 2-1 with 18 strikeouts in 33 innings of work…named UAA All-Academic...posted career highs of 8.1 innings pitched and six strikeouts in UAA Championship action versus Rochester on March 11…threw six shutout frames with four strikeouts in game one of a doubleheader against Westminster on April 5.
2013: Appeared in six games and earned four starts as team’s top freshman pitcher…finished the season with a 3-1 record and 3.65 ERA in 24.2 innings of work…named to UAA Championship All-Tournament Team after throwing 10.1 scoreless innings in a pair of outings in Florida…threw 5.1 shutout innings to beat Emory in collegiate debut on March 10.
Personal: Earned a total of nine varsity letters with four in baseball, four in hockey and one in football at Lahser High School…2012 baseball team captain…two-time All-Oakland Athletics Association and all-district in baseball…also named all-region and second-team All-Michigan on the diamond in 2012…three-time All-OAA pick on the ice…All-Michigan Honorable Mention in hockey as a senior…two-year captain…member of the National Honor Society…AP Scholar…two-time Academic All-Michigan in both baseball and hockey…graduated with a 4.0 grade point average…son of Richard and Laurie Krentz.
