
Senior (2018): Played in 36 games, making 33 starts during his senior year, seeing time in left field, right field and as the team’s designated hitter… Hit .242 (29-of-120) with nine doubles, 25 runs scored and 16 runs batted in… Led all CWRU players with 19 walks, raising his on base percentage to .350… Slugged .317 during the year… Was a perfect 20-for-20 on stolen base attempts, marking the seventh-most stolen bases in a single season in program history, and the most ever without being caught stealing… Hit .303 (20-for-66) with runners on base… Totaled seven multiple-hit games, including one three-hit contest, and three multiple-RBI efforts… Had five games with at least two stolen bases, including a four-steal game against New York University on April 14… Went two-for-two with three walks in the game against NYU, including the game-tying RBI single in the bottom of the eighth and the game-winning walk off bunt single in the bottom of the tenth… Was three-for-five with three runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base against Rochester on March 15… Drove in a season-high three runs against Washington University (Mo.) on April 21… Finished his career as the program’s all-time leader with a .969 stolen base percentage, while ranking 16th in school history with 31 stolen bases… Received UAA All-Academic honors.
Junior (2017): Appeared in 10 games out of the bullpen during his junior season, recording a pair of saves and going 0-2 with an 8.10 earned run average… Struck out 12 batters in 10.0 innings and held opponents to a .222 batting average… Did not allow an earned run in six of his 10 appearances… Lefties hit just .143 (one-for-seven) against him during the year… Struck out four batters and allowed one hit in a scoreless inning and a third against N.C. Wesleyan on March 16, picking up a save… Pitched two scoreless, hitless innings to earn a save against Washington College on March 18... Received UAA Spring All-Academic Recognition.
Sophomore (2016): Was a dual-threat player for the Spartans during his sophomore year, appearing in 10 games as the team’s designated hitter, and pitching in 16 games out of the bullpen during the year… Hit .389 with four runs scored and two RBIs, while stealing three bases on four attempts… Went three-for-five with a double, an RBI and a run scored against Rochester on March 8th… Tallied a 1-0 record with two saves out of the bullpen, recording a 2.95 earned run average and 16 strikeouts in 18.1 innings of work… Held opponents to a .186 batting average during the year, and did not allow a hit to a left-handed hitter (0-for-12)… Did not allow a run in 13 of his 16 appearances… Picked up the first win of his collegiate career with two scoreless innings against Manchester in a 13-5 win… Claimed his first career save in a 4-3 win over Emory, striking out the only batter he faced in the contest… Also picked up the save during the team’s 4-3 win at Pitt.-Greensburg on March 26… Earned UAA All-Academic honors.
Freshman (2015): Played in 19 games during his freshman season, making two starts…stole eight bases on as many attempts and scored five runs…recorded his first career hit against Baldwin Wallace on April 1.
Personal: Earned four varsity letters in baseball as well as two in football at Francis Parker High School…two-time All-Coastal League selection…team MVP in 2014 and two-year team leader in batting average and RBI…also a 2013 Costal League Golden Glove honoree…honor roll student…son of Steve Glasser and Gloria Sandrino.
