Senior (2018): Named to the All-University Athletic Association Second Team… Appeared in 13 games out of the bullpen, going 2-1 with a 2.08 earned run average (seventh-best in program history)… Recorded eight saves during the year to lead all University Athletic Association players and rank 20th in Division III in the category… The eight saves also tied for the second-most in a single-season in program history, and were just one behind the program record… Struck out 19 batters and allowed just seven hits in 17.1 innings of work for a .119 opponents’ batting average, the lowest in program history… Limited left-handed hitters to a .105 average (two-for-19) during the year, while opposing batters went just two-for-28 (.071) with the bases empty and two-for-21 (.095) with two outs… Did not allow a run in nine of his 13 appearances, and did not allow an earned run in 11 of his outings… Allowed one hit or fewer in 12 of his 13 appearances… Started his season with 10-consecutive appearances without an earned run allowed… Named the relief pitcher on the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on March 13 after getting a win against SUNY Cortland and a save against Trinity (Conn.) on back-to-back days… Pitched three innings of scoreless, one-hit baseball against Washington and Jefferson to earn the win in the team’s season-opening game… Pitched two perfect innings and struck out three batters in a save against NYU on April 14… Received UAA All-Academic honors… Finished his career ranked 25th among all active Division III players and second in school history with 14 saves… Was also 30th among all active NCAA players and fifth among active Division III players with 6.20 hits allowed per nine innings over his career… Recorded the lowest career opponents’ batting average (.187) ever by a Spartan player, while ranking fifth in school history in appearances (48), and eighth in earned run average (3.47) and strikeouts per nine innings (7.06).
Junior (2017): Appeared in a team-leading 17 games out of the bullpen during his junior season, going 0-2 with a 3.34 earned run average and four saves… Recorded a team-best .189 opponents’ batting average, while striking out 22 batters over 29.2 innings pitched… Left-handed batters hit just .192 (five-for-26) against him while righties batted .188 (16-for-85)… Held the opposition to a .137 average (seven-for-51) with the bases empty… Allowed one earned run or fewer in 16 of his 17 appearances during the year… Named as the relief pitcher on the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on April 11 after pitching 2.1 perfect innings and recording saves in back-to-back games against NYU… Recorded six-straight scoreless outings between April 2 and April 22… Struck out a season-high five batters during four innings of relief against Mary Washington on March 12… Earned a three-inning save against Rochester on March 18… Also picked up a save with a hitless inning against Chicago on April 22… Received UAA Spring All-Academic Recognition.
Sophomore (2016): Was a key member of the Spartans’ bullpen during his sophomore season, making 15 appearances during the year, including one start… Finished the year with a 1-1 record, two saves, and a 2.87 earned run average, while striking out 20 batters in 31.1 innings of work… Allowed just five runs in 27.2 innings out of the bullpen for a 1.63 ERA, while holding the opposition to a .160 mark in relief appearances… Limited the opposition to a .200 batting average, including a .189 mark (17-for-90) by right-handed hitters, and .164 (10-for-61) with the bases empty… Earned UAA All-Academic honors.
Freshman (2015): Pitched in three games out of the bullpen during his freshman season…allowed two hits or fewer in all three outings…surrendered just one unearned run on one hit and struck out a batter against Mount Aloysius on March 22.
