2016: Made 11 appearances during his senior year, including three starts… Finished the year with a 3-1 record and a 5.91 earned run average, while striking out a career-high 12 batters over 21.1 innings of work… Allowed opponents to hit just .271 against him during the year… Threw 5.2 shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out six to pick up the win over Heidelberg on February 28^th… Added a win in relief with 1.2 shutout innings against Emory on March 7^th… Finished his career with a 6-1 record and a 4.71 ERA over 22 games and five starts.

2015: Pitched in four games during his junior season…finished the year with a 1-0 record and a 5.06 ERA…allowed 13 hits over 10.2 innings of work, while striking out five batters and walking a pair…did not allow a run over 3.2 innings of work against John Carroll on April 29, surrendering just two hits, while striking out one and walking one.

2014: Pitched in seven games with six relief appearances…went 2-0 with a 3.06 ERA…pitched eight innings and surrendered just two earned runs in first collegiate start during NCAA Mideast Regional elimination game against Thomas More on May 18…logged 4.2 scoreless innings in relief at Oberlin on April 27.

2013: Missed entire freshman season due to injury.

Personal: Earned four varsity letters at Friends’ Central School…2012 varsity captain…2011 first-team All-Friends League for conference championship team…2011 All-Main Line selection…ranked as eighth best pitcher in Southeastern Pennsylvania in 2011…son of Felix and Karen Penzarella.
