Biography

Senior (2022): Played in 37 games during the year, including 34 in a starting role… Batted .262 with 24 runs scored, two doubles, and 10 RBIs… Slugged .279 and walked 18 times to raise his on-base percentage to .366… Also stole six bases on nine attempts… Hit .346 against left-handed pitching… Had nine multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI efforts during the year… Went four-for-five with a run and two RBIs against Wash U. on April 23, including a game-winning walk-off single in the ninth inning… Was three-for-four with two runs and an RBI against Roanoke on March 6… Received UAA Spring All-Academic Honors… Finished his career batting .270 with four home runs, 36 RBIs, 66 runs, and 19 stolen bases over 100 games played.

Junior (2021): Started 29 of the team’s 30 games in center field during his junior season… Finished the year batting .271 with 20 runs scored, five doubles, a triple, a home run, 13 RBIs, and a team-leading nine stolen bases on 10 attempts… Slugged .364 during the season with a .355 on-base percentage… Hit .293 (27-of-92) against right-handed pitching during the year and reached base at a .400 mark when leading off an innings… Added a .316 batting average (12-of-38) with runners in scoring position… Totaled five multiple-hit games during the season… Batted three-for-six with a run and an RBI against Wittenberg on March 27… Went one-for-three with a home run, a stolen base two walks, and two runs scored in the second game of a doubleheader against Hiram on March 31… Notched three steals against Wittenberg on April 3… Went three-for-four with a run, two RBIs, and a stolen base against Ohio Wesleyan on April 22… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition.

Sophomore (2020): Named to the All-University Athletic Association Team… Played in nine games during the season, making four starts in center field, and two each in left field and right field… Finished the season batting .290 (nine-for-31) with two home runs… Tied for the team lead in runs (nine), runs batted in (eight), and stolen bases (three on three attempts)… Slugged .484 during the year with a .371 on-base percentage… Recorded three multiple-hit games and two multiple-RBI efforts… Hit .391 against right-handed pitching during the year, and reached base at a .778 mark when leading off an inning… Hit a leadoff solo home run in the Spartans’ opening game of the season against Earlham on February 22… Also hit a leadoff home run in the second game of a doubleheader the next day against Earlham, finishing the game two-for-five with a run, two RBI, and two stolen bases… Went two-for-three with two runs and an RBI against Alfred State on March 11… Was two-for-three with three runs, three RBIs, and a stolen base against Roger Williams on March 12… Received Spring UAA All-Academic Recognition.

First-Year (2019): Played in 25 games and made 13 starts during his freshman season… Hit .277 with a home run and five RBIs… Scored 13 runs, while stealing one base on three attempts… Notched a .340 slugging percentage with a .386 on-base percentage… Hit .318 (seven-of-22) with the bases empty and .308 (four-for-13) when leading off an inning… Recorded a five-game hitting streak from March 12 through March 16… Hit .278 over the course of nine conference games… Leadoff the ninth inning with a game-tying home run against NYU on April 6… Had a game-winning walk-off RBI single with one out in the bottom of the seventh against St. John Fisher on March 24… Was two-for-four with two runs scored against Roger Williams on March 12.

Personal: Was a four-year member of the baseball team at the Boys' Latin School of Maryland, serving as a team captain as a senior... Was coached by Bill Greenwell... Helped lead his team to the MIAA B Conference Championship each year from 2016-18... Named the Most Outstanding Junior Student-Athlete at his school...
